New equipment for Hilton home

THE Frank Hilton Organisation(FHO) received equipment’s to cater for children living with disabilities early this morning in Toorak, Suva.

The assistance worth approximately $23,802 was made possible by Goodman Fielder, through Hibiscus Charity Chest, Telecom Fiji Limited and Suva City Council also assisted.

FHO chief executive officer Sureni Perera, said the significance of the event was to recognize the importance of public-private partnerships in improving the services to persons living  with disabilities.

“We purchased hospital beds, supportive mattresses, hoists, slings and portable commodes with the funding received.”
