‘NCC will be 90 minutes’

THE Vodafone National Club Championship (NCC), from this year, will be played over 90 minutes.

This was confirmed by Fiji Football Association chief executive officer Mohammed Yusuf.

He advised all districts to adapt to 90 minutes of football wherever possible as this would help the teams during the NCC playoffs.

“This was announced in the congress last year and we urge districts wherever possible to play 90 minutes,” Yusuf said.

“The NCC will be 90 minutes of football.”

Nadi’s Blues FC is the defending champion.

They defeated Raymonds FC of Rewa 1-0 in the final last year.
