Nawai braces for ‘titanic’ battle

FIJI Boxing rising star Siliveni Nawai braces for a titanic battle against New Zealander Beau O’Brien in the upcoming  World Boxing Federation title contest scheduled at Nadi’s Prince Charles Park.

The Nadi-based boxer who holds a record a 11 unbeaten fights has been training hard with the aim of maintain his unbeaten record.

He said the fight would open a door of opportunity in his quest to challenge world class boxers.

Promoter Simon Naushad said the program would also feature nine exciting bouts leading up to the main bout.

The fight will be promoted by the Canada Fiji Southern Boxing on June 23.
