Navua opens first-ever Mother’s Day Carnival

NAVUA will have its first-ever Mother’s Day Carnival, which was officially opened by the Provincial Administrator, Serua, Inoke Tagicakibau at the B Prasad and Son’s Complex today.
Officiating as chief guest, Mr Tagicakibau said that the carnival was a time to acknowledge all mothers and to respect the sacrifices every mother gave for their children.
“Mother’s carnival brings back memories of our beloved mothers,” he said.
“Every mother did and is still doing sacrifices selflessly and thus they deserve huge respect from everyone.
“I believe that no one has enough potential that a mother has because the sacrifices that she does for her child, no one has the potential to do that much.”
The carnival officially opened today and will end on Sunday.
