NAUSORI Town Council CEO Akhtar Ali says that a new children’s park is being constructed at Syria Park in Nausori.
Mr Ali said Syria Park would also become the second venue where free Wi-Fi would be available, the same as is made available at Ratu Sukuna Park in Suva.
“At the moment, we are upgrading the Syria Park in terms of a new facility for children. It should be ready in the next two weeks,” Mr Ali said.
In May early this year, Minister for Local Government Parveen Kumar had mentioned that the ministry had made plans to redevelop Syria Park to accommodate proposed developmental changes.
