THE Fiji Under-16 schoolboys team broke camp yesterday after three days of grueling training sessions in Nadi.

The 30-member team trained at Prince Charles Park from Wednesday under the guidance of the Fiji Airways Flying Fijians coaching panel.

Team manager Jiutasa Mocesui said the players did well and met expectations.

“It was a tough three days for them. However, they did quite well. They learnt a lot of things from the national coaches,” Mocesui said.

“We will resume training on Monday at Bukhurst Park grounds on Monday. The boys from the west will start schools in Suva now. We will move into camp in the third week of third term.”

The team departs for Gold Coast on the September 29.

They will compete in the Australian National U16 tournament.
