Namosi holds first ever cadet passing-out parade

NAMOSI Secondary School had its first ever cadet passing-out parade yesterday (June 22) since its inception in 1973.

Acting Commissioner of Police Rusiate Tudravu said it was indeed and emotional day for all who witnessed this occasion.

“I want to thank each and every one of you for showcasing such a wonderful pass out parade, I was very emotional when I witnessed it this morning,” ACP Tudravu said.

ACP Tudravu also extended his acknowledgement to the staff and teachers of Namosi Secondary School for the effort made in engaging the police force for the cadet training.

“I would also like to thank the teachers and the principle,  I extend our deep appreciation on behalf of the Commissioner of Police for engaging the Fiji police force in trying to mould the children, the leaders of tomorrow, to obey orders and listen to the orders being given to them,” he said.

A total of 300 students took part during the cadet pass-out parade at the Namosi Secondary School grounds where hundreds of parents, guardians and friends gathered to witness the occasion.
