NAMAKA Public School is amongst the few schools vying to win the primary school title at this year’s Fiji National Schools Swimming Championship.

The school has been training hard under the guidance of the champion Nadi Airport School’s coach Elenoa Osborne.

Osborne said the team would give other schools a good run for their money.

She said Namaka would face stiff competition from its neighbouring schools Nadi Airport School and Mt Saint Mary.

Nadi Airport is the defending girls champion while St Mary is the reigning boys champions.

The two-day event kicks off on Friday.
