A NEW winner will be crowned during the Fiji Muslim League Sports Association 2018 Vodafone Inter District Championship.
Defending champion Lautoka bowed out of the pool stages failing to make the eliminations.
Nadi is the top seed featuring William Valentine, Alfraz Ali and Shafim Buksh.
Fiji Muslim League Sports Association chairman Javed Ahmed said the tournament at Prince Charles Park in Nadi was disrupted during the Easter weekend because of adverse weather caused by Tropical Cyclone Josie.
Ahmed said the quarter-finals postponed to this weekend, however, had been moved to next week because of the extensive flooding caused by Tropical Cyclone Keni earlier this week.
“The quarter-finals will be played next week at Prince Charles Park,” Ahmed said.
“Nadi is the hot favourites with a few district reps. The side has recorded good scores in the pool stage.”
In the quarter-finals, Ba will play Navua, Drasa will take on Rewa, Valelevu will play Meigunyah and Nadi will face Nasinu.
