Munroe Leys race a success

A total of 300 runners took part in the 2018 Munroe Leys challenge this morning which event organizer Marita Manley said was a success.

Ms Manley thanked all participants and paid special attention to Fijian Commonwealth Games bronze medallist Winston Hill who also took part.

“The Suva Marathon Club would like to thank all the runners for turning out in numbers, Winston Hill for starting the races and awarding prizes, our main sponsor, Munro Leys, Fulton Hogan Highways, the Police, Suva City Council, our charity partner Save the Children and all our amazing volunteers out on the course today,” Manley said

“The club invites you to keep running at our regular club runs every Thursday evening and the first Saturday of every month and on July 21st for the Island Chill Suva Marathon.
