Mechanical glitch delays flight

Listen to this article:

FIJI Airways has confirmed one of its aircraft scheduled to travel from Auckland to Nadi was delayed on Sunday.
The aircraft is believed to have been delayed for about 12 hours.

“Our FJ410 was delayed because of a mechanical issue with our aircraft,” Fiji Airways spokeswoman Shaenaz Voss said.

“The rolling delay was mainly because of the nature of the rectification required, which took longer than anticipated.

“We sincerely apologise for the significant inconvenience our guests experienced.”
