IT will be a battle of the titans in next week’s Fiji Secondary Schools Southern Zone Rugby Union under-18 final when Marist Brothers High School meets John Wesley College.

The Flagstaff boys beat Suva Grammar School 20-6 while JWC beat Nasinu Secondary School 24-11.

Meanwhile, in the U17 grade John Wesley College beat Nasinu 12-10.

JWC U17 captain Josese Vinaka thanked the Almighty for their win.

“Nasinu was a tough team,” he said.

“For us, this win means a lot. We had gone through a lot of challenges to make it to where we are now. We were camping in school for the past week and sometimes we ran short of food, but that motivated us to work hard, not just on the field, but also in the classroom.”

Union president Napolioni Silatou said the competition would be tough in the finals.
