SUVA-BASED Marist Brothers High School will field 31 swimmers who will compete in 96 different categories in the Fiji National Schools Swimming Championship which starts on Friday. Coach William Domonatani said he had faith in the swimmers that they would get the result.

“We are lucky not to suffer from any injury or illness at the moment,” he said.

“We are doing well with the support from the teachers and the parents. “We have 31 swimmers and Marist Brothers High School is in contention to win the title this year.”

He said his side would not underestimate any school because his swimmers would focus on their individual events.

“The competition will be strong. We have some new boys who have popped up with good talent. We want to take back the title and take it back to Flagstaff. “We hope the swimmers will be supported on Friday and Saturday with a big crowd turnout. There will be more than 800 swimmers and the fans can come and watch the competition.”
