Mariners advised of easterly wind flow

MARINERS are being advised of an easterly wind flow which currently prevails over Fiji waters.

Meanwhile, the marine weather bulletin issued from the National Weather Forecasting Centre in Nadi at 3:30pm today says a trough of low pressure remains slow moving to the far southwest of Fiji.

Associated cloud and showers is expected to gradually move eastwards and affect the southern parts of the group from tomorrow until early Saturday.

As for the forecast to 6pm tomorrow for Fiji waters expect East to northeast winds 15 to 20 knots.

Winds becoming northerly later today accompanied by moderate to rough seas and moderate southerly swells.
