Man allegedly found in possession of meth remanded

A 34-YEAR-old man facing a charge of being found in possession of illicit drugs has been remanded in custody.

On July 13 in Nasinu this year, James Ashwin Raj was found to have been in possession of 41.8 grams of methamphetamine.

He appeared before Magistrate Charles Ratakele.

The case has been adjourned to July 30 for mention.

Mr Raj is also charged with aggravated robbery in another pending matter, which has been transferred to the High Court in Suva.
