A TWENTY-YEAR-OLD man has been charged in relation to the alleged murder of a tertiary student.
Fiji National University student Akuila Salavuki’s body was found in a pool of blood at the Suva Foreshore in the early hours of May 17 this year.
He was 20 years old.
Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro confirmed the suspect was arrested on Friday and questioned at the Totogo Police Station.
She said police investigators had been pursuing several leads and managed to gather information linking the suspect to the alleged incident.
The accused has been charged with one count of murder and will be produced at the Suva Magistrates Court today.
