FIJI’S Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama has reminded traditional leaders in the province of Ra of the importance of family values.

While opening the Ra Provincial Council meeting at Nanukuloa today, he said as Fijians welcomed new opportunities in the new financial year, people needed to maintain a higher moral standard.

“We need to hold each other to a higher moral standard, we need to set higher expectations as Fijians,” Mr Bainimarama said.
