MEN in villages within Macuata joined their women counterparts in a march through Labasa Town today to campaign against all forms of violence against women.
The march was organised in conjunction with a workshop on violence against women held by Transcend Oceania.
Transcend Oceania’s operation manager Paulo Baleinakorodawa said the support from men who attended the workshop was overwhelming.
Mr Baleinakorodawa said the workshop would continue through the weekend.
“Violence against women continues to be a problem in our communities and it takes men and women to address the issue,” he said.
“This is why we are targeting men too in this workshop.”
