Lovu villagers take 2-hour boat ride to access free health checks

VILLAGERS from Lovu on Gau Island in the Lomaiviti group left their village around 6am today to visit the Sai MediCare team who were based at Navukailagi District School on the other side of the island.
More than 20 villagers arrived early by boat to get a chance to access free medical check-ups.
The villagers travelled for two hours by boat.
Many villagers looked forward to accessing dental and eye care services.
The team will complete their medical camp for Lomaiviti today.
