Update: 4:03PM THE Ministry of Agriculture still has leftover budget for the rehabilitation and construction of farm roads.

Assistant Minister for Agriculture Viam Pillay said
they had completed about seven farms roads in the North alone last year.

My
Pillay said work on the rehabilitation and construction of farm roads could not
be done overnight.

“We had worked on a lot of farm roads around the four
divisions in the country and I recently visited the farm roads in the North,”
he said.

Meanwhile in June last year Ministry of Agriculture’s deputy secretary
extension Uraia Waibuta revealed that of the $1.2 million distributed to
maintain farm roads in the North, $600,000 was allocated for Bua.
