MORE than 200 students of All Saints Secondary School in Labasa who completed the cadet training program were reminded yesterday to always learn to respect the differing views of their comrades. While officiating at the event, Tui Macuata, Ratu Wiliame Katonivere, stressed to cadets the importance of discipline and making wise decisions.

Ratu Wiliame told students the most important objective of the passing-out parade was to instil in cadets discipline and unity.

“You have to be patient, obedient and mature to be able to work in sync with the rest of your platoon,” he said.

“Always think and feel before you do anything.”

He also called on students to do any task they were given from their hearts.

“Seek, feel and then commit yourself because every decision you take from now and forever will affect your life,” he added.

Parents, friends and loved ones gathered at the school grounds yesterday morning to witness the passing-out parade.
