STUDENTS of a prominent tertiary institute today raised their concerns to the Attorney-General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum on issues related to their students association.

Law students from the Fiji National University waited outside the Ministry of Economy today to hand their petition to Mr Sayed-Khaiyum.

Law Students Association vice-president Ilisapeci Maramatunamena said the students were concerned that they were not shown any financial statements of the association’s accounts and requested the AG to step in assist them.

Mr Sayed-Khaiyum said the university and the students association had its own mechanisms which were used to resolve such issues but assured the group that if they submitted the petition to his office then they would look into it.
