Kula Film Awards preps underway

PREPARATIONS of what is expected to be the biggest Kula Film Awards is well advanced.

This was stressed by Film Fiji chief executive officer, Dallas Foon in an interview.

Mr Foon said a total of 43 schools were taking part in this year’s 13th Annual Kula Film Awards and the preparations from these schools, including new participating schools from the outer islands had been good.

“We are well advanced with our preparations with what will be our biggest Awards event ever with 43 high schools from around the country participating,” Mr Foon said.

The Fiji Made Film Awards and The Fiji Airways Art Awards event is an invitation only and will be held at the Damodar Cinema in Suva on July 27 at 7pm.

The Fiji Link Dance Competition will be held at the FMF Gymnasium in Suva on July 28 at 5:30pm.

Tickets are available at the Film Fiji Office at ground floor Civic House in Suva and at Damodar Cinema ticket outlets in Suva and Lautoka for $2.
