SWASTIKA Chandra is over the moon after her five-year-old daughter received a free open heart surgery from the Open Heart International team at the CWM hospital earlier this week.
Shanaya Chandra who is a student at Bhawani Dayal Kindergarten had been suffering from a congenital heart condition five months after birth.
Her overjoyed mother could not be happier knowing her daughter’s sickness had now been cured.
“I am very thankful to the surgical team who have been here the whole week to assist my daughter and other children here,” Ms Chandra said.
Shanaya is now recovering at the CWM hospital.
