Kautoga scoops best player award

FORMER Fiji football rep Samuela Kautoga scooped the Best Player’s award at the New Zealand Fiji Football Incorporated (NZFFI) awards function in Auckland over the weekend.

NZFFI is an association member of the Fiji Football Association.

Kautoga, who is likely to join Rewa in the current transfer window, played for the Western Springs side in the Auckland Football league.

Kautoga was influential for his team helping them win the League competition without a loss as they won 16 matches and drew two.

Meanwhile, if things go well then Kautoga might feature for the reds at next week’s Courts Inter District Championship.

Rewa is pooled with Nadi, Suva and Tavua at next month’s tournament.

The IDC takes place from the October 5-10 at Suva’s ANZ Stadium.
