Update: 1:38PM MEMBERS of the public in Savusavu are all welcome to be part of the Kasavu Primary School Fiji Day fundraiser that is progressing at the school grounds.
Event organising committee member Aubrey Whippy has also called on former students to join in and help the schools raise funds to improve the school facility.
Mr Whippy said that entertainment and crafts were on sale at the one-day event.
“We are inviting Good Samaritans out there and the people of Savusavu to come and assist us with this worthy cause,” he said.
“Money collected during the event will benefit children in the area to get a brighter future.”
The event ends this evening.
