Kasavu accident victim died of drowning: Police

THE post mortem for the late Kaushal Singh was conducted yesterday and Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro confirmed that the cause of death was drowning.

The body of the late 25-year-old was recovered near the Kasavu River by the Special Response Unit on Tuesday.

Ms Naisoro said that they will conduct the post mortem on the second victim, 21-year-old Monish Sami soon.

Sami’s body was found near the Waila Water Treatment plant by a fisherman yesterday afternoon.

The two were involved in an accident in Kasavu, Nausori on Tuesday.
