THE Labasa Zone Kaji Rugby competitions will be a springboard for schools wishing to represent the Macuata division at the national competition level.
Competitions coordinator Mario Codro said the divisional competitions would be held on the first week of next month where a team would be chosen to represent the Macuata zone.
Codro said the Under 9 to 14 categories from 12 schools participated in today’s competitions.
“The performance of players since the competitions kicked off at this morning shows experience indicating that exposure at national competition levels have developed and upped their performance and game techniques,” Codro said.
