June test: Goneva keen to play for country

EUROPE-based player Vereniki Goneva is keen to be part of the Fiji Airways Flying Fijians side when they face Samoa this weekend.
Goneva said despite winning the awards at the Premiership, he still had the passion to play for his country.
“Representing Fiji is always an honour and I’m excited to play for this June test and blessed to be part of the team,” Goneva said.
Goneva also expressed his excitement in playing alongside new players who made their debut with the Flying Fijians this month.
Fiji takes on Samoa at 3.30pm on Saturday, June 9 at the ANZ Stadium in Suva.
