Update: 7:48PM THE grandfather of a 19-year-old teenager who appeared before High Court judge Justice Daniel Goundar was today asked to talk to his daughter and her ex-husband regarding their son’s behaviour.

Inoke Cagitukana appeared before Justice Goundar and was released on bail on the condition that he returned to school.

Cagitukana is charged with aggravated burglary and theft-related charges.

His grandfather was his surety, and he was told to talk to the teenager’s parents of the need for them to take responsibility for their son’s life.

“You need to talk to them and tell them that the judge has expressed his concern over this young man’s life,” Justice Goundar said.

“At 19, he is facing five criminal offences, that is worrying.”

The matter has been adjourned to April 23, in time for the school holidays.
