FIJI defeated Tonga 13-0 in the first-ever International Hockey Federation hockey series in Vanuatu.

They also thrashed host team 8-1 in their second game.

Fiji will now face Solomon Island to decide who tops the round robin phase.

In the men’s category, Fiji also beat Tonga 14-0 before losing out to Vanuatu 7-5.

Countries who make it to the finals will earn a chance to qualify for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics qualification event.
