Inter-tertiary debate scheduled to mark World Consumer Rights Day

Update: 6:10PM IN commemoration of World Consumer Rights Day (WCRD) tomorrow, the Consumer Council of Fiji is holding an inter-tertiary debate at the University of the South Pacific’s (USP) Laucala Bay campus.
The debate will be between USP and Fiji National University on the topic ‘Should cyberspace be regulated to deal with fake news and cyber bullying?’
The chief guest for the event is Chief Justice Anthony Gates.
The event will take place at USP’s Faculty of Business and Economics Postgraduate Lecture Theatre from 2pm tomorrow.
This year’s theme for WCRD is ‘Making digital marketplaces fairer and safer’.
