Ilich pushes Wellington to 2-0 lead

LANKY defender Mario Ilich scored a brace of goals to help Team Wellington take a slender 2-0 half time lead against the Vodafone Lautoka Blues.

A blunder by goalkeeper Senirusi Bokini enabled Ilich to capitalize scoring his first goal in the ninth minute followed by a powerful shot in the 31st minute.

The two goals were scored in almost a similar fashion after Bokini ran away from the goalmouth defending a counter attack by the visitors caught Bokini off guarded.

Lautoka missed few easy scoring opportunities and needed to lift their game to win.
