Hundreds turn up to make their votes count

Update: 5:50PM ABOUT 300 to 400 people turned up around 8.30am to cast their votes at Jai Narayan College at Rewa Street in Suva today.

Blessed with
fine weather, people from all walks of life, who lived in the vicinity of
Samabula, Flagstaff, Rewa St and Milverton Rd areas, walked to the
polling station to make their vote count.

Voters
liked the voting system as smooth election process was in progress at the polling venue.

Mothers
with children and elderly were given priority to cast their vote.

Chairs
were also placed at the corridors for elderly, sickly or  for anyone who needed a seat to rest before voting.
