Hrithik talks about overcoming his fears

After cricketing stars Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Mithali Raj, and actors Ajay Devgn and Sidharth Malhotra, Bollywood hero Hrithik Roshan is the latest to join Star Bharat’s crusade, Bhula De Darr, Kuch Alag Kar.

The channel’s ideology, which aims to inspire people to follow their dreams, is about how a real hero is not someone who is fearless. Instead, it’s someone who fights those very fears and overcomes them. Bhula De Darr, Kuch Alag Kar aims to convey the message that fear holds you back, makes you rethink and ultimately, stops you from achieving what you are really capable of.

On his part, Hrithik recalled how he was discouraged from becoming an actor, in his initial days. However, he kept believing in his dreams and has now become one of Bollywood’s biggest stars.

In one of his earlier interviews to a daily, Hrithik had called fear an illusion. He had said that whenever he faced a situation that induced fear, he would apply the lessons learnt from his past. Once the mind assures you that there’s a way out of every problem, there’s no room for fear, he had said.
