FIJI’S Minister for Local Government, Housing, Environment, Infrastructure and Transport Parveen Kumar says the Government will tarseal roads that lead to temples, mosques, gurudwara, and schools.
He said this during celebrations to mark the 80th anniversary of the Tavarau Mariamman Temple in Ba last Friday night.
“You all want to progress and as much as you want this, we are also trying to progress this country,” Mr Kumar said.
“And to progress this country and address poverty, your support is needed.
“The road to progress has taken place and is taking place and you all know this fact that the progress is being fast-tracked.”
