THE Fiji Trades Union Congress biennial delegates conference has given union executives the mandate to apply for another permit for a march through Suva City.
FTUC national secretary Felix Anthony said there had been unanimous support for another march after the permit for a protest on April 7 was denied by police.
“Government’s denial of a permit to assemble and protest on a number of worker-related issues is a denial and infringement on the rights of every employee in this country,” Mr Athony said.
