Friendly North festival team donates for Western flood victims

THE committee of the Vodafone Festival of the Friendly North donated $5000 for the flood victims in the Western Division.
Committee members presented the cheque of $5000 to Local Government Minister Parveen Kumar, who thanked them for their generous assistance.
Mr Kumar said such help would benefit the flood victims greatly.
“We will use these funds to buy more stuff for the victims and we are grateful to all Fijians and all those who have helped out,” he said.
The cheque was presented to Mr Kumar in Labasa this afternoon.
