Free surgery for 20

More than 20 children with heart problems have successfully undergone surgery at the Colonial War Memorial Hospital says Sai Prema Foundation of Fiji medical coordinator Dr Krupali Tappoo.
Dr Tappoo said this was done with just a span of nine days by the medical team which consisted of surgeons from India, US and Oman and were brought in by the Sai Prema Foundation to provide free services.
She said the surgeries were done for free.
“So this is the second trip and our plan is for this to happen every year.
Dr Tappoo also said they were interested in capacity building and training our local doctors and specialist.
