Fraser to fight for Natabua family

FRANCO Fraser will be dedicating the super welterweight fight against Krishna Mudaliar to the residents of Natabua seaside which was affected by the recent floods.
Fraser who is a resident of the area weighed in 71.3 kilograms for the contest while Mudaliar weighed 71.9kg.
Mudaliar holds a record of six wins, four losses and one draw while Fraser has four wins, three losses and a draw.
Fraser said the residents of Natabua seaside faced a lot of difficulties in the last few weeks.
He said his training was disrupted because of bad weather.
“Despite all of that, there are no excuses for this fight,” Fraser said.
“I was living at the evacuation centre at Natabua Primary School. I’m facing a better boxer this time. I will try my best to match Krishna. He is a good boxer and I don’t take anything away from him.
“I have been asking for a title fight for the past few years and hopefully in August it will mature.
“This fight is for all those who struggled during the floods.”
