FRANK Lomani’s inclusion in the Melbourne Rabels team in the Super Rugby is a huge advatage for Fiji rugby heading towards the 2019 Rugby World Cup says Fiji Airways Flying Fijians coach John McKee. Lomani had been a key play for the Fijian Drua last season for the Senirusi Seruvakula coached side where he scored six tries in the competition.

Lomani made 53 tackles in the competition where he successfully made 42 tackles while missed 11.

The 22-year-old was also called up in the Flying Fijians team by coach John McKee and had been part of the team. “It is very good for Fiji rugby to have Frank Lomani join Melbourne Rabels in the Super Rugby competition.

He got a contract with the Rabels and he had joined them last weekend. “He will be with the Melbourne Rabels until the end of the season.

“It is a very positive move for us to get a player who is a current Flying Fijian into the Super Rugby competition and it would definitely help him in the development as a player and reach his potential towards the Flying Fijians’ Test this year and the 2019 World Cup.”
