FRA: Weather situation extends pothole repair work schedule

THE Fiji Roads Authority (FRA) is working hard with its contractors to ensure all potholes in the Suva area are patched.
FRA has highlighted that because of the heavy downpour in the capital city, there had been an increase in the number of potholes in a few areas.
This, particularly had been on the old pavement on the Nausori bound lane on Ratu Mara Road near the Raiwasa junction.
FRA has stated that their contractor is working hard to resolve the situation but would take a few days because of bad weather conditions.
However, potholes that posed concerns for motorists last night at the Ratu Mara Road at Shalimar Street had been patched.
They are pleading to motorists to be more cautious while driving.
