THE Fiji Roads Authority (FRA) will extend their focus for the next two years to the rural area.
FRA CEO Jonathan Moore stressed this while addressing the members of the Tailevu Provincial Council meeting at Nauluvatu village in Nakelo this morning.
“I can assure you from FRA’s point of view that it’s not only about Suva, Lautoka or Labasa but for the whole country,” Mr Moore said.
He said he comes from a remote village in England and he fully understand to some extent about rural issues.
Mr Moore said for the next two years FRA will increase its assistance to rural areas one of which is to change from untarsealed roads to tarsealed roads.
He further stated that they will diversify their teams to all areas in Fiji.
