THE smiles on the students’ faces at Hilton Special School showed their excitement in receiving a cheque of $3000 from the Fiji Roads Authority.
The cheque was given to the Frank Hilton Organisation as part of the authority’s corporate social responsibility.
The organisation’s mission is to offer effective and quality education at all levels to increase the potential of children with disabilities, empower children with appropriate skills for life in order to increase independence and full participation in society and mitigate hardships of parents and caregivers and empower them with the necessary tools to understand, protect and advocate on the rights of children with disabilities.
FRA chief executive officer Jonathan Moore said it was part of their corporate social responsibility in supporting the Frank Hilton Organisation as they continue to do an important and wonderful job.
“Seeing smiles on the children makes it all worthwhile. We will definitely do something similar for the next year” Mr Moore said.
“We have had good support from our staff who took part in the fundraising activities and we thank them for their hard work and effort.”
Frank Hilton Organisation CEO Sureni Perera said they are grateful for the gesture and thanked FRA for providing support towards a worthy cause and their willingness to work towards making a difference.
