FRA: Call for safety and care on Edinburgh Drive
27 March, 2018, 12:21 am
Update: 12:21PM MEMBERS of the public are urged be patient and drive to the current conditions of Edinburgh Drive with safety and care as the road is still an active working site.
The Fiji Roads Authority (FRA) said in a statement issued this morning that the heavy rainfall last night had inevitably washed out the milled section causing delays along the Edinburgh Drive.
“Our contractor China Railway Fifth Group is doing preparatory works to get this reinstated,” FRA said.
“This is likely to be completed today, subject to weather.”
Edinburgh Drive (Walu bay roundabout to FNU lights) is part of the Suva Arterial Road Upgrading Project (SARUP 1).
