Update: 12:33PM THE Vodafone ATH Foundation through its RED ALERT program donated over 400 cartons of relief items to those affected by the recent floods in the Western Division yesterday.

Vodafone
employees and volunteers from the foundation’s partnered programs gathered at
their head office in Tamavua on Thursday to assist in packing these relief
items.

Regional
Chief Executive Pradeep Lal expressed his sympathy to those affected by the
floods.

“This is a
sad time for our country as people are gathering the little they have left in
the aftermath of the recent flooding in the Western Division,” Mr Lal said.

“We may not be able to assist everyone,
but hope our contribution will bring back a little smile to at least some of
the affected families.”
