Football senior league: Lami, Savusavu out for first win

LAMI and Savusavu football teams will be out to record its first win when the two teams meet in the Vodafone Senior League playoff today.

Both teams have lost a match each already to Nasinu.

And both find it important to win their next match to have a chance of gaining promotion.

Nasinu leads the standings with six points, while Lami and Savusavu are yet to register a point.

The match kicks off at 3pm at the FFA Grounds at Vatuwaqa in Suva.

The winner of the playoffs gain direct promotion to the premier league next season.
