MISS Fiji Society for the Blind sponsored by Autocare, Jesssica Fong won the second special award – the sarong competition, in the the queen’s category at the 2018 Vodafone Hibiscus Festival last night.
Speaking to the Fiji Times after her win Miss Fong said she was grateful for the support from her family and her fellow contestants.
“I’m very happy and emotional but also grateful for all the support I’m getting and I will continue to do my best,” she said.
Miss Fong’s sarong was designed by Fijian fashion designer Samson Lee.
Meanwhile tonight is the king contestants public judging and talent show which will start at 7pm at the Bank of Baroda tent at the Valelevu grounds, Nasinu.
