THE Fiji National Rugby League has so far received four applications for the position of a new Fiji Bati coach.

FNRL executive chairperson Peni Musunamasi has confirmed all applications are from coaches in Australia.

“We have readvertised the position on Rugby League Coaches Manual and more applications are expected to come in. We should have a new Fiji Bati coach by mid-October,” Muisunamasi said.

He said FNRL would discuss the applications with the Fiji National Sports Commission before making the appointment.

The application for the new Bati coach closes on October 7, 2018.
