FIJI National Rugby League CEO Timoci Naleba has stepped down from his position.
This has been confirmed in a press statement by the FNRL today.
The statement revealed that the FNRL had a meeting with Naleba today to discuss the CEO’s default payment to his past employer, the Fiji Sports Council, and had a talk about his future with the organisation.
At the end of the meeting, Naleba agreed he will step down from his position effective immediately.
In the interim, board chairperson Peni Musunamasi will act as executive chairman until the CEO position if filled.
